Alejandro Palafox is a Production Engineer with Flywheel Energy, where he focuses on optimizing upstream production operations for unconventional wells in the Eagle Ford Basin.

A legacy Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA) high school program alumnus, Alejandro brings more than a decade of post‑graduate experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. He has held both field‑based and corporate leadership roles across Drilling, Completions, and Production, working on both the service and operator sides of the business.

Passionate about developing the next generation of talent, Alejandro is committed to helping young professionals by sharing real‑world insight and practical, day‑to‑day advice for those pursuing corporate careers in oil and gas.

Outside of work, Alejandro enjoys spending time at home with his wife and their two dogs—watching the latest movies or series, attempting to improve his golf game, and staying active through gym workouts or outdoor runs.
