Sarah Hewitt is the Managing Director for the Society of Exploration Geophysicists Foundation (SEGF). Sarah is dedicated to advancing the Foundation’s vision and mission while fostering partnerships that drive impactful change within the science of Geophysics. With over 20 years of experience in working with non-profits, Sarah has held prominent leadership positions within the public school district sector and at the Independent Petroleum Association of America.
Sarah has a passion for serving underserved communities by providing opportunities that lead to positive transformation. She has successfully developed and implemented strategic, national programs that have transformed the lives of individuals and communities in need by bridging industry with education.
At home, Sarah focuses on her husband and 2 teenage sons and enjoys cheering on her alma mater, Texas A&M. She is also a veteran rancher with an operation in South Texas. Her experience in working in small rural towns has led to her passion in supporting underserved communities.
